Lamb Khorma

Servings: 4  |  Preparation Time: 25 minutes  |  Cooking Time: 60 minutes

Ingredients

1 tbsp oil
1 tsp poppy seeds
1 onion, finely chopped
½ tsp turmeric
14oz (400g) diced lamb
2 tbsp Gourmet Garden Fresh Blends™ Indian
1 tbsp Gourmet Garden Ginger
1 tbsp Gourmet Garden Garlic
⅔ cup chicken stock
⅓ cup light coconut milk
¼ cup green beans, trimmed & chopped
Sliced spring onions and rice to serve

Directions

  1. Heat oil in a medium saucepan, cook poppy seeds and onion until onion softens.
  2. Add turmeric, lamb, Gourmet Garden Fresh Blends™ Indian, Gourmet Garden Garlic, Ginger and chicken stock to pan.
  3. Simmer 40 minutes or until lamb is tender and sauce has reduced. Stir in light coconut milk and green beans.
  4. Simmer curry until beans are just tender.
  5. Serve topped with spring onions on rice.

Note: Chicken or Beef can be substituted for Lamb
