Five to Ten a Day

MY FRUIT AND VEGGIES TIPS!

  • Start your day with a small bowl of fresh fruit such as pieces of mango or papaya, watermelon or pineapple.
  • Keep it simple and consider buying ready-to-eat vegetables such as bags of lettuce, carrots and miniature tomatoes.
  • To get all your servings of vegetables, start your meals with vegetable juice, a salad, a few raw vegetables or vegetable soup.
  • Add them everywhere! Pasta, stir-fries, meatloaf, pizzas, soups, couscous, sandwiches, rice, stews, etc. Fresh, frozen or canned, the more colour there is, the more flavour there will be!
